Framework for a greenhouse from pvc of pipes. How to build a greenhouse with your own hands from plastic pipes: design options and assembly technology. Vegetables that can be grown in early winter in a cold greenhouse

Those who are interested in the cost of greenhouses know that any high-quality and durable construction is truly an expensive pleasure. The process of building the latter is connected with the question - is it worth equipping greenhouses, the construction cost of which is rather big, if it is known that they will be “in operation” only from spring to autumn, remaining unattended in winter?

In such a situation, the most acceptable option is the construction of greenhouses. Greenhouses are temporary structures in which seedlings are grown, or an earlier crop ripens. For the construction of greenhouses do not need a foundation.

They are built in a chosen place for the season, and with the onset of winter cold, they are dismantled and disassembled are stored in the "utility room". Nowadays, structures made of galvanized profiles, as well as plastic and metal plastic pipes.

From above, thick spunbond (non-woven raw materials from a melted polymer) or cellular polycarbonate (polyesters of carbonic acid).

Those who decide to build greenhouses from plastic pipes with their own hands can only deal with configuration issues and decide on the dimensions.

So are arched. The material is in great demand among summer residents, because it is durable, lightweight.

In addition, it will not rot like wood or rust like metal. And at the cost of PVC pipes are available.

Such greenhouses have many advantages:

  1. acceptable price;
  2. ease of construction;
  3. the possibility of free movement;
  4. the ability to create projects of any size and shape.

Such materials are not afraid of high or low temperatures. They also deal with high humidity. In addition, polypropylene is environmentally friendly.

Construction of a PVC pipe structure with pegs

For construction, you need to stock up on the following materials:

  • PVC pipes;
  • bars that have a small diameter and a length of 60 cm;
  • 4 boards from which the base is built along the perimeter of the future greenhouse;
  • brackets that attach the frame elements to the base;
  • bar holding the film on the frame.

Assembly steps

The order of work is as follows:

  • a rectangular frame of boards is installed on the prepared plot of land. It should be perfectly flat, without any distortions. To fix the structure, a set of small bars is installed in the corners;

  • the long side of the frame is marked for pins. In order for the structure to be strong and durable, the intermediate distance between adjacent elements should be no more than 50 cm in length;
  • by label, with outside frames, soil is being dug up. 20 cm ends remain on top;
  • at the next stage, the ends of the plastic pipes are put on over the bars. Then, with special brackets, the plastic segments are attached to the frame;

  • after this, on the opposite side, a door and a window for ventilation are installed;
  • in order for the frame to acquire good stability, another plastic pipe is tied in the upper part;
  • after that, the oilcloth is pulled over the frame and attached to the base with self-tapping screws;
  • then an inlet is made, a door frame is installed. The doors themselves are also mounted, the strips are covered with foil;
  • thus, greenhouses from plastic pipes are mounted.

metal-plastic

When financial opportunities allow, it makes sense to build a greenhouse from metal-plastic pipes with your own hands. As a result, an almost eternal construction is obtained, which is not afraid of any strong winds, no big load. As a matter of fact, this metal pipes wrapped in plastic.

Basically, the assembly is similar to the previous cycle:

  • with the help of screws, a box is assembled with a width of not more than 4 m (steps between arcs - within a meter);
  • fragments of reinforcement are hammered into the ground, on which semicircular frame segments are put on. They are fixed using self-tapping screws and staples, in some cases thin metal plates. The frame is reinforced with three longitudinal pipes (one - along the axis at the top and two - on the sides);

  • the northern end part can be made deaf. A pair of wooden racks is installed under the door. The remaining sections are covered with plywood (or fiberboard), the extreme arc is “dressed” in thermal insulation, which is based on foamed polyethylene. Small nails are used for fastening;
  • hundreds of microns thick. In the lower part, the film is fixed with small strips that are screwed to the greenhouse. The other side needs to be stretched.

PVC construction

Sometimes summer residents wonder - how to make a greenhouse made of plastic pipes more solid? In this case, they must use a special apparatus that is able to weld such pipes together.

In such greenhouses, the elements are connected using tees.

  1. as the instructions say, the work begins with the fact that the tees are welded to a pair of long pipes. They will form the base of the structure, the distance between them should not exceed 50 cm. The edges are equipped with crosses;
  2. for the future door, a couple more tees are installed, to which pipes are attached. Doors will be put on them;

  1. when the frame is formed, it is the turn of creating arches, installing transverse elements, arranging doors and vents. In the final, a film is stretched over the structure.

Advice! If the greenhouse is not removed for the winter, it is required to strengthen it in such a way that it can withstand the weight of snow. In this situation, the arched structure is reinforced with props.

Conclusion

To build the second option, you will have to spend more money than when assembling a conventional "plastic" greenhouse. However, as practice shows, it's worth it.

  • The protective layer on which the inscriptions are applied must be located on the outside of the greenhouse.
  • To obtain the most durable structure, be sure (!) Pay attention to the location of the "honeycombs" of polycarbonate - they should only go vertically, in inclined structures - parallel to the slope.
  • When creating arches, keep in mind that polycarbonate sheets bend only in one direction - in length, that is, along the line of stiffeners.
  • The joints of the sheets should fall on the center of the frame rack, connect the sheets only in this way.
  • Cut this kind of plastic construction knife, jigsaw , grinder . You can also use a hacksaw or a circular saw.
  • For a strong connection of sheets to each other, special plastic profiles. Manufacturers do not recommend overlapping polycarbonate. In practice, when making a polycarbonate greenhouse with your own hands, it is not always possible to cut and fit sheets perfectly. Some craftsmen generally manage to do without connecting profiles, placing overlapping polycarbonate. The most important thing is that the junction must necessarily fall on the center of the rack, and not sag in the air. Moreover, even with perfect installation under the pressure of snow, the sheet can be squeezed out of the profile. In the case of overlap, this does not happen.
  • It is undesirable to use a powerful drill for screwing in self-tapping screws - it will overtighten fasteners and often slip off during operation. It is better to work with a conventional screwdriver. Polycarbonate is drilled at low speed with little effort. Next, turn off the tool, insert the screws and continue to work.
  • The distance between the screwed screws is 25-70 cm. It all depends on the type of frame and the expected snow and wind load.
  • When assembling polycarbonate structures, riveting is sometimes used instead of self-tapping screws. However, it will be more difficult to dismantle the greenhouse or replace the damaged sheet in this case.
  • When the temperature changes, the plastic is able to change dimensions. When butt-joining between sheets, it is imperative to leave small space a couple of millimeters in size - a technological gap. Otherwise, cracks will form at the junction. For the same reason, the size of the holes for the fasteners is made a little larger. To prevent the plastic from cracking, do not twist them all the way.
  • To compensate for expansion and protection from cold bridges, it is recommended to use special thermal washers for polycarbonate (self-tapping screws are purchased separately). Applicable roofing screws EPDM, equipped with a gasket or standard for metal with a rubber thermal washer, in which the thread has a small pitch.

The weather is very unpredictable. To be sure of the result of your work, you must have a greenhouse in the garden. You can buy it ready-made right size, it will be brought and collected directly on the site. But in order to save money, you can build it yourself, you just need to decide on the design and material.

Types of structures

A greenhouse can be made with your own hands from polypropylene pipes capital or collapsible.

Homemade greenhouses made of polypropylene pipes can be divided by type into the following:

  • arched frame;
  • rectangular frame with single-pitched or gable roof;

  • greenhouse of several sections - combined;
  • rectangular frame with arched top.

Choosing the design and size of the greenhouse, you need to decide on its purpose. If you plan to grow products only for personal consumption, you can create a greenhouse with a width of about 3 m, a height of 2–2.5 m, a length of 4 to 12 m. A greenhouse with an arch-shaped frame is much easier to make on your own than a rectangular one. To make a greenhouse with a rectangular frame or an even more complex shape, you need to make accurate calculations, draw a diagram, providing additional elements for greater structural rigidity. A large number of connecting parts reduces the stability of the frame and makes it more expensive. The simplest option greenhouse is to install arcs over the garden bed and cover with any covering material.

Material selection

Having decided on the design of the greenhouse, you should choose the material for its manufacture. You can make a frame from plastic pipes of various diameters from 16 to 110 mm and a length of 2 m. Pipes are suitable for plumbing PVC, propylene (PP), polypropylene (PPR) or pipes that are made from high density low pressure polyethylene (HDPE). You can also use polypropylene pipes with a layer of aluminum or fiberglass, they are stronger, but also much more expensive.

When choosing a material for the frame, it is necessary to take into account the presence of a welding machine, which is designed for welding plastic pipes, as well as or have the skills to use it. Although it is quite simple to use, you just need to know technical features plastic pipes. PPR pipes are welded using a diffusion method: the edges melted using a welding machine are inserted into each other.

It should also be noted that when welding, pipes and fittings from the same material are used.

The welding process itself is as follows:

  • it is necessary to cut the pipes at right angles;
  • should cut soldering 260 degrees;
  • the welding site must be cleaned and degreased;
  • the ends of the pipes are put on welding machine(heating time, welding time and cooling time depend on the pipe diameter);
  • the ends of the pipes are connected to each other for 4–8 minutes.

In rectangular frames and parts of the structure that are a support, it is better to use pipes with a diameter of at least 50 mm. For arched frames, you can use pipes of a smaller diameter - 25 or 32 mm. It should only be taken into account that polypropylene pipes practically do not bend. To create bends and turns, you will have to use elbows, adapters and other fittings, which will significantly increase the cost of the product. Shelves, vents and doors can be made from plastic pipes in a greenhouse.

Plastic pipes have the following advantages over other materials:

  • ease of use due to flexibility, you can create an arch just by bending the pipe;
  • affordability;

  • high resistance to the external environment from 10 years or more;
  • do not corrode, rot, decompose;

  • do not require additional processing (painting);
  • refractory;

  • environmentally friendly, do not emit harmful chemicals even when heated;
  • not subject to deformation from external factors. Do not break even under strong wind loads;
  • withstand both chemical and biological treatment.

But they also have one drawback. The constructed structure will be very light. To prevent it from being blown away by the wind, the base will have to be fixed into the ground.

The above qualities of pipes allow them to be used to create a greenhouse with their own hands, without having special skills. If you correctly make measurements and calculations and purchase materials according to them, then you can build a solid greenhouse, avoiding extra costs.

The choice of covering material is quite wide and will largely depend on the function assigned to the greenhouse. Glass as a covering material for a greenhouse made of plastic pipes is not suitable. It can be easily replaced with polycarbonate, because it does not break, it is easy to cut, it is easier to attach, tolerates slight deformation, and has less heat transfer.

Buying polycarbonate is not a problem. Cellular polycarbonate with a thickness of 4 to 6 mm will be excellent for a greenhouse, only pipes should be polypropylene with a diameter of 32 mm or more.

Advice! Having decided to use polycarbonate as a covering material, you should calculate the size of the sheets and their joining to each other, depending on the coverage area. Cellular polycarbonate less than 4 mm thick will not withstand climatic loads. To fix polycarbonate, you will need self-tapping screws with washers.

Cheaper options can also be used as a covering material:

  • polyethylene film is the cheapest material;
  • reinforced film is preferably 11 mm thick, it is stronger than polyethylene and will last longer;

  • bubble wrap, which is an excellent heat insulator;
  • non-woven materials: agrospan, agrotex, lutrasil, spunbond, agril. They are stronger than plastic film, retain heat better, let rain through, but are opaque, although this will protect plants and fruits from sunburn.

For correct location a greenhouse on the site and eliminating unnecessary costs, you need to make a drawing, diagram, or at least a sketch. The location of the greenhouse on the site should be chosen depending on the illumination of the territory and the wind rose.

Below is an example of a greenhouse diagram with an arched frame, made of plastic pipes, reinforced with wooden slats, mounted on rods fixed into the ground.

You can use the above drawing or look for a greenhouse diagram on the Internet. It will not be difficult to draw a diagram or drawing yourself. In your drawing, you can take into account all the nuances of the site and the required dimensions of the greenhouse. Having thought over the shape of the frame, having decided on the material and drawing a drawing of the greenhouse, you should draw up a plate for calculating materials and their cost. It is also necessary to make calculations of covering material and foundation. The choice of materials for the manufacture of the foundation will depend on the chosen design.

Plate form:

Assembly

After preparing the drawing, choosing the design and materials, purchasing all the necessary components, you can begin to assemble the greenhouse. If the base of the greenhouse is wooden and it is small, then you should start by assembling the foundation - the box rectangular shape. Since plastic pipes are light, the foundation must be quite strong and even, so boards with a thickness of at least 25 mm are used. The box can be made from flat slate fasten the structure with screws. Boards should be treated with an antiseptic.

If the greenhouse is small and low, then it is convenient to make it open. It is necessary to fasten to the box a frame with a frame covered with covering material, on the one hand, with loops, and on the other, connect with a chain or rope. To protect plants from moles and other pests, you can fix a metal mesh on the base of the box.

To assemble the frame of the greenhouse, you need to cut the pipes required size as in the drawing. To do this, you can use special scissors, a hacksaw for metal or a grinder. The assembly must be started from the ends, it is easier to do it on the ground, and then put and fix it to the frame or foundation. Plastic pipes can be connected using fittings for self-tapping screws, welded using a welding machine, or glued.

You should first make markings on the frame at an equal distance from each other. On one side, attach the pipe to wooden frame special fasteners. You can bend it yourself into an arch of the desired height and fix the opposite end of the pipe with the same fastening to the other side of the frame. Thus, it should be fastened required amount pipes. For strength, the structure must be covered with a metal or plastic mesh and attached to the frame.

If the greenhouse is large enough, then it is better to assemble it at the installation site. But some details can be prepared in advance. In a large greenhouse it will be inconvenient without doors and vents. To assemble the doors, you will need two pipes for a rack about two meters high, three for crossbars from 50 to 70 cm and fittings: four corners and two tees for connecting pipes.

Tees and corners should be attached to the rack, transverse parts should be inserted into them. Attach loops to one of the racks. The door should be covered with covering material or polycarbonate, depending on the design. Tees can be used to improve structural strength. With their help, you can horizontally install additional pipes on the arch, which will make the frame stronger.

Installation

Before installing a greenhouse, prepare the site. Even if the plans are to make the most simple model, having covered the garden bed with arcs, and the foundation is not required, you still have to start by creating the garden bed itself.

The easiest way to make arched greenhouse from plastic pipes over the garden bed includes the following steps.

  • arcs are installed above the beds at an equal distance, usually 50 cm apart, so that the covering material does not sag;

  • pipes need to be cut. If the bed is not wide, then 1.5 m is enough. The number of pipes will depend on the length of the bed;

  • you need to bend the pipes in the shape of an arch, dig them into the ground to an equal depth. Arches should be of the same height and well buried;

  • cover the bed with a film or nonwoven fabric. It is necessary to cover with a margin to prevent the access of cold air under the greenhouse, and the edges of the covering material (about 20 cm) could be sprinkled with earth or fixed with bricks.

If you are planning to build a capital greenhouse structure, you need to start with the foundation. It can be made from materials such as concrete, bricks, blocks, stones, sleepers, beams or boards. It is better to use a beam with a size of 50x50 mm or 100x100 mm, boards - 50x100 mm or 50x150 mm.

To build a durable foundation on a prepared, leveled, more lit and wind-protected place, you must:

  • make markup according to the drawing;
  • pegs are driven in around the perimeter in the corners, an ordinary rope is attached to them;

  • if the land under the greenhouse is not very good, you can remove the top layer by 1-2 bayonets of a shovel;
  • according to the marking, a trench is dug approximately 30 cm wide and 30 cm deep;

  • the trench is compacted, crushed stone is poured a third of the depth, and sand is poured from above to the same depth. If the foundation is concrete, then you should first hammer in the reinforcement where the pipes will stand. Then make a formwork, fill in sand, crushed stone and pour it with mortar or immediately ready-made concrete. Do not forget to compact everything sequentially;
  • on top of the trench, you need to put roofing material in two layers, wooden foundation closes from the sides;

  • boards or timber for the foundation should be treated twice with an antiseptic or liquid bitumen. When they dry, lay them in a trench and attach them to each other with long screws, bolts or galvanized corners;
  • the foundation is checked with the help of a level.

The foundation can be done in another way.

To do this, you must perform the following steps:

  • mark the site, but dig not a trench, but make grooves where the pipes will stand;
  • concrete rods or reinforcement with a diameter less than the inner diameter of the pipe should be concreted into these grooves;

  • hammer the rods in both cases to a depth of at least 30 cm, depending on the soil and wind strength in the region;
  • on the surface, reinforcement should be left at least half a meter high, preferably longer, which will be more expensive;
  • the distance between the rods should be at least a meter. If the greenhouse will be covered with a film or non-woven material, it is necessary to install rods more often or pre-stretch a metal or plastic mesh. The edges metal mesh it is worth covering it so that the wind does not tear the film.

Now you need to cut the pipes of the desired size. First, put one end of the pipe on the rod, the other end on the rod from the opposite edge of the foundation. This procedure should be repeated until all pipes are in place. To keep the pipes stronger on the reinforcing bars, they can be fixed with polymer clamps or galvanized brackets. The pediments of the greenhouse should be attached to the frame with the same fixtures.

Now you need to strengthen the frame. For rigidity, it is necessary to attach transverse pipes at the very top in the center and at least one pipe from each side, depending on the width of the greenhouse. The ribs must run along the entire length of the greenhouse, it is necessary to attach the transverse and longitudinal pipes to each other with clamps, preferably plastic. It is necessary to install doors and vents, if they are provided for in the drawing. You can cut a hole for entry instead of a door. To do this, from the end of the greenhouse, you should cut the covering material of the desired size from the bottom, left and right, and do not cut it from the top.

One of the cheapest but effective ways provide yourself with early vegetables, berries, greens from early spring to late autumn - a greenhouse made of polypropylene pipes, you can build a structure with your own hands in 1-2 days. The product is light, strong, mobile, durable, does not require significant costs and skills in construction, and can be easily dismantled if necessary.

Secrets of building greenhouses from PVC pipes

Greenhouses from pvc profile can be built in any shape:

  • arched;
  • rectangular under a single, gable roof;
  • combined from several sections;
  • rectangular buildings with arched roofs.

The construct depends on the preferences of the owners, the selected project. It is important to remember that the more interfaces, the more docking elements will be required, which leads to additional costs. It is advisable to arrange structures of small and medium size, 2-2.4 m high, about 3 m wide, 4-12 m long.

Good to know: Ergonomic width of 1 bed 800-1000 mm, tracks - 700-800 mm. Based on these parameters, the dimensions of the building from PVC pipes should be calculated.

Suitable for building greenhouses water pipes pvc, standard diameter 16-110 mm, pipe length is usually 5 m, you can buy a cut product: 2.3.4 m. PVC pipes with a reinforced layer of thin aluminum or a mixture of fiberglass with polypropylene are also on sale. They are more durable, but the price is higher; for the construction of greenhouses, the use of such products is not economically justified, but the owner is a gentleman.

The optimal polyethylene pipe for a greenhouse has a diameter of 25-32 mm - for arched products, 50 mm or more - for racks-vertical supports in rectangular structures.

Useful characteristics of pvc pipes

A greenhouse made of polypropylene pipes is durable, does not require additional costs for special care during operation, is not afraid of an aggressive atmospheric environment, thanks to the characteristics of the material:

  • the service life of PVC pipes is 10 years or more, wear-resistant;
  • moisture resistant, do not rot;
  • are not afraid of chemical and biological influences;
  • do not burn;
  • do not emit harmful substances;
  • withstand significant mechanical loads, do not deform;
  • the material is flexible, which allows you to independently, without additional devices, bend an arc of different radius.

Drawings and design features

For construction, drawings of a greenhouse made of polypropylene pipes will be required, it is not difficult to make a sketch with your own hands: it is enough to think over the shape of the frame, indicating the dimensions and valuable components of the structure. Can be found finished project on the Web, adapt it to individual conditions. What should be considered if you make a drawing of the greenhouse yourself:

  • what will be the foundation (foundation);
  • constructive, materials for gables;
  • shape, placement of the main nodes, the distance between the bearing elements;
  • docking, fastening parts.

Plastic pipes can be glued, put on self-tapping screws, soldered special device, in the video we offer a practical and easy way to connect pvc pipes yourself at home.

The easiest way is to build an arched frame for a greenhouse from polypropylene pipes, cover it with a film. Rectangular structures are more difficult to self erection, additional calculations will be required, more stiffeners will have to be provided. It should also be taken into account that numerous docking nodes weaken the structure.

How to build a greenhouse from plastic pipes with your own hands - video tips and step-by-step photos of construction

A greenhouse is installed from polypropylene pipes with their own hands by one or two people in a few hours. Choose an open, sunny, flat area.

We are preparing the site

It is better to pour under the greenhouse strip foundation, or lay out a platform around the perimeter of bricks, blocks, rubble stone. Simplest, fast option foundation devices - a foundation made of a board 50 * 100-150 mm or a bar with ribs 100-150 * 100-150 mm.

We mark the site according to the drawing, hammer in the pegs, pull the rope around the perimeter. It is recommended to remove the upper fertile layer of soil along the pit, with a depth of 300-500 mm. You can dig a trench along the perimeter, 300-400 mm wide, 300-700 mm deep. We level the bottom, fill it with crushed stone - 100-200 mm, sandstone - 100-200 mm, ram it. We cover 1-2 layers of roofing material. We process the timber with refractory, antiseptic impregnations, coat it with liquid bitumen, machine oil. We lay the parts in a trench, check the geometry, the diagonals should be equal. We fasten on galvanized corners and long self-tapping screws.

Useful advice: A stronger base is obtained if the ends of the beam are sawed down by ½, put one into one, drilled through, tightened with bolts.

We assemble the frame of the greenhouse from PVC pipes

We cut the pipes to size according to the drawing with a hacksaw for metal, a grinder, we clean the ends with a file.

The first stage is the manufacture of gables. It is better to collect them on the ground, and then install them on a prepared foundation.

Scheme of assembling greenhouse doors from pvc pipes

We assemble the doors, you will need: 2 vertical parts, 2-2.1 m high, 3 transverse parts - 700-900 mm wide, connecting elements - 4 corners, 2 tees. The opening is made of 2 vertical posts, 1 diameter, as in the diagram above. The height and width of the opening should be 5-10 mm larger than the door itself. We attach hinges to one of the racks.

A simple scheme for assembling a greenhouse made of pvc pipes with your own hands

Useful advice: For the strength of the greenhouse, it is recommended to put on an additional 1-2 tees on the front arch, fix vertical racks on them and install horizontal stiffeners. The pediment can be made of wood or welded from metal profiled pipes.

Along the long sidewall, from the outside of the foundation, we drive into the ground to a depth of 300-700 mm, depending on the softness of the soil, reinforcing, corrugated rods, 8-12 mm thick. The length of the rod is calculated individually, taking into account the fact that it should stick out 500-800 mm. The distance between the reinforcement is 600-900 mm, but not more than a meter.

We put a pvc pipe, cut to size, with one end on a rod, bend it, insert the other end from the opposite side of the foundation. According to this algorithm, we install the remaining arches.

Due to the elasticity of PVC pipes, the arcs for the greenhouse are the same in shape

To make the installed greenhouse with our own hands made of plastic pipes strong, we fasten the arcs to the foundation on galvanized brackets, which can be replaced with wide polymer clamps.

An example of how a greenhouse is assembled from plastic pipes with your own hands, a photo of attaching arcs to the base

In the same way, we install the previously prepared pediments of the greenhouse. It remains to tie the frame with transverse elements. We cut pvc pipes along the length of the greenhouse, and fix them on the frame plastic clamps like the photo below. One transverse element in the center of the greenhouse, at the highest point of the arc, in large buildings, preferably one more from each side.

Other ways to build greenhouses from pvc pipes

Do-it-yourself arched greenhouse made of plastic pipes can be built entirely on connecting elements, but such structures will require large financial costs. Thanks to the frequent sections, PVC pipe greenhouses on connectors are more durable.

One of the examples of how to assemble greenhouses from polypropylene pipes with your own hands, in the photo is a design on special docking elements

A rectangular greenhouse made of PVC pipes is also assembled in a similar way, but in this case, material with a diameter of 32-50 mm should be used.

How to attach the film to the frame

To attach the film to the pvc pipe frame, you can cut pieces of 50-100 mm, cut a quarter along the length, you get staples. After the film is stretched over the greenhouse, it is fixed to the vertical and longitudinal posts with the resulting latches.

More ways to attach a film from a greenhouse made of PVC pipes:

  • mesh throughout the frame;
  • ropes;
  • on the double sided tape, pasted on the frame;
  • using tapes cut from linoleum, fasten with ordinary self-tapping screws.
Good to know: The film is recommended to be made longer than the frame of the greenhouse made of PVC pipes, so that it lies on the ground by 100-200 mm. After mounting the structure, the edges are sprinkled with earth, so it will be possible to avoid drafts in the greenhouse.

How to attach polycarbonate to a pvc pipe greenhouse frame

For polycarbonate coating, the greenhouse frame is recommended to be made of PVC pipes with a diameter of 32 mm. Honeycomb sheets with a thickness of 4-6 mm are suitable.

Polycarbonate is fastened with self-tapping screws with a press washer 3.2x25 mm. Excess along the arc is cut off sharp knife. The second sheet is overlapped with the first by 100 mm. It is also possible to fix a special detachable docking profile with self-tapping screws on a pvc pipe frame, insert sheets into it, close the joint with a plug.
